David Abecassis – Career Scientist /Entrepreneur
Chief Science Officer/Managing Director/Founder
Establishes strategies and procedures for company board to review. Directs business-scientific research-strategy coordination. Does company IP. Creates strategic alliances with other entities outside Green Growers. Stays out of the way of others after delegating. Checks in to measure progress and preside over meetings.
Avi Cooper – Career Business and Sales Professional/Entrepreneur
Chief Executive Officer/Co-founder
Avi is a visionary who has brought this alliance together with his expertise and experience. With an extensive background in business, sales, and marketing Avi has established contracts with clients, manages the company operations, coordinates sales and marketing activities with his staff and is a master communicator. With his mission to solve the major global issue of world hunger, the technology behind GGTA can and will support feeding kids and the impoverished on a global scale. This is the personal mission of Avi Cooper, and the foundation in which the Green Growers Technology Alliance was founded on.
Jesse Hayes – Cultivation Director
Jesse grew up in the viniculture world of the finger lakes in central New York states’s wine country. He started growing cannabis both indoor and outdoor at the age of 16 with the help of a few much older experienced horticulturists. While using typical soil and soilless mediums he also found a fondness for Deep water culture systems and the other emerging hydroponic and aeroponic setups. In 2001 he moved to Boston, MA, where he finished a dual major degree in music business and management and performance from the Berklee College of Music. As soon as Rhode Island approved medical cannabis cultivation he began a small collective in Providence, RI. Starting at 2,000 sq. ft. canopy and quickly reaching 10,000 sq. ft. he was able further explore these different growing techniques. This lasted until 2016 when he pulled the operation back to Massachusetts after the medical legislation passed there. He joined to GGTA team in October of 2019 and has since traveled throughout greater North America as a cultivation specialist.
Ivan Halpern – Financial Consultant
Chief Operations Officer
Ivan is a financial consultant to GGTA, Titan Bioplastics and Titan Biotech. Ivan is a CPA and has 25+ years of experience in investment banking, investment management and specialty finance. From 2008 – 2017 Ivan worked at Paulson & Co, a global hedge fund with $38 billion of assets under management. Ivan has analyzed debt and equity investments of public and private companies.
Chief Security Officer
Brett is a Veteran, a former member of the Naval Special Warfare community, a US Navy SEAL. After 12 years of honorable service Brett departed the military to purse higher education at Regent University. During that transitional period Mr. Hess participated in worldwide governmental and corporate security solution programs. Additionally, he led safety awareness initiatives and ground security operations for international humanitarian organizations. His background, experience and credentials for corporate safety, security planning and business intelligence are substantial; having served numerous industry leaders in their efforts to protect information, critical assets and key individuals. His hobby and free time passion are for Combat Jiu-jitsu and Thai Boxing, with a certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine- as a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Conditioning Specialist.
Mikhail Myagkov PhD – Co-Founder GGTA
Chief Technology Officer
Mikhail is a founding partners of GGTA and a key participant in Titan Bioplastics and GGTA Biotech. Mikhail has a PhD from the prestigious Mendeleev Institute of Chemistry, and over 40 years of chemistry experience in synthesis and polymers.
Chief Marketing Officer
Dmitry brings over a decade of marketing, management, and business operations background to GGTA. Dmitry’s experience includes marketing and strategic initiatives of varying scope, budget, schedule and complexity from numerous sectors including Technology, Financial, Legal, Non Profit, Education and Leisure.
Jeffrey Bovarnick – Corporate Counsel
Jeff is Corporate counsel to Green Growers Technology Alliance, LLC and to its related companies. Mr. Bovarnick brings his vast legal experience to GGTA including representing real estate developers, property owners, lenders, and tenants in connection with purchasing, selling, financing, permitting, construction, title, leasing, and workouts. He has counseled and advised numerous start-up companies, businesses that are expanding, and ones that need workouts
Jeffrey Kaufman – Senior Vice President Strategic Planning and Partnerships
Jeff brings over 30 years of expertise in strategic planning, finance, and business development gained from his roles in general management, corporate strategy, consulting, turn-around work and investment banking. His breadth of experience as a partner, private equity investor, and strategy consultant span from coast to coast in the USA and Canada. Jeff is ideally positioned to help enhance scale, process and guide organizational efficiency.
Rocco Panaro – Global Sales Executive
Rocco develops large industrial accounts, and helps build strategic relationships with outside collaborators. Rocco is a Cornell certified negotiator and a former Union VP.
Ken Pischel – Business Consultant

is the founder and Managing Member of Dynamic Business Consultants LLC, a firm that provides financial consulting services to businesses in the areas of financial operations and strategies. Located in Northport, NY the firm services clients in the tri-state New York area. Assuming the role of part-time CFO and strategic business consultant, Dynamic Business Consultants LLC assists companies in both growth and crisis mode with Domestic and International planning, managing cash flow, establishing proper policies for customer, and vendor relationships, loan facilities, and internal budgeting procedures. In addition, it assists business owners in making cost-effective decisions, using budgeting tools, profitability models, risk/reward analysis, financial statement analysis and forecasting, measuring operational efficiencies to maximize labor, product and service utilization.
Mr. Pischel is a graduate of Hofstra University where he was awarded a BBA in marketing and an MBA in accounting. Recognized as a top 40 Long Island Business Executive under 40 by Long Island Business News he is a accomplished public speaker and author of several articles on business strategies. In addition, he is a former adjunct professor at Stony Brook University School of Business where he taught Business 220, Business Decisions Sciences.
Gloria Wilson – Company Administrator Science & Operations
Gloria is a trained lab technician and a former employee of Cold Spring Harbor Labs. She is the company administrator for science and operations. She is also our company research and operations technician.
